Guideline Seminars: A Welcome Message from our Chair and CEO
NYSCA's Guideline Information Seminars are now underway. Our Chair and CEO, Dr. Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, provided the following statement to welcome our applicants:
On behalf of the New York State Council on the Arts, Council and Staff, please accept my warm appreciation and thanks to each of you for your attendance here today.
I genuinely regret that a long-standing NYSCA commitment keeps me from being here in person.
This Guidelines Seminar is one of five being held this month, each serving a different region of our state. Organized by NYSCA's knowledgeable and dedicated staff, the Guidelines Seminars have been created to help our numerous and varied applicants, whose reach ranges from New York's small rural communities to our great cities.
NYSCA staff have been working tirelessly to improve the application and outreach process, and the Guidelines Seminars are an integral part of this effort. Your involvement, and attendance at these events is key. We rely on our informed constituents, who have dedicated their energies, talents, and intelligence to help the arts flourish in New York.
We hope that today's event will give you the information you seek. And we hope that you will share what you learn with your colleagues. Please let them know about these sessions and their value.
